He recorded Lazaretto at the studio inside Third Man, sent it to a pressing factory in Nashville and had the single pressed and available at the store later that day. I know he catches some crap for some the way Third Man handles some of their releases but that's pretty damn awesome, especially if you were in the store for the recording and later got a copy.
Really looking forward to this album, Blunderbuss was an instant classic.

i loved Blunderbuss. I still listen to it about once a week.
IMO, it's Jack at his most innovative. He's got a good groove going with his various bands (and that includes his 'solo' efforts), but I feel as though they're all pretty much the same old same old. a few songs here and there reach out and grab me, but overall I get the feeling he's doing the same thing over and over.
