but he needs to step his game up. In the playoffs, when the ice is tilted, you need your goalie to carry you. Much like he's done in the international tournaments. He hasn't done that nearly enough for the Rangers and he certainly didn't do that in game 2.

SHHOOOOOT THE PUCK!!!!! Get it on goal & pick up the trash. MSL was hanging at the goal mouth while Sir Richards was stick handling all over the place in G-2. MSL kept switching sides of the goal as Brad roamed. (me personally I think MSl was a bit fustrated at that sequence of events)

Hank DEF needs to get back to his-old-self and "steal" a FEW games. (I use the term steal loosely) (sp?) Just need him to come up with a few amazing saves as we know he's capable of!!

He really didn't do much last game as the rangers repeatedly pounded the puck into his chest. They need to finish better. The guy isn't great.

And I hope McDonagh gets back on track. He's been pedestrian at best. Not good enough.

I think Dorsett can skate with Richards and Hagelin. Makes them firmer with the tradeoff being less offense..

against Philly. He's the one player on our team that effectively agitates Philly and gets guys like Simmonds and Hartnell off their game.

We've been getting enough shots on net. We were jittery with the puck. I'd rather play a more puck possession focused game and get better shots.

It's they're passing too much. If you want pick possession the go battle in the corners. Non--stop passing is results on turnovers and unforced errors more often than shots let alone goals.

They were trying to be too cute on that 4-on-3... cycling the puck does nothing if you're not moving the defenders and opening any space up. The Rangers did nothing to exploit the man advantage there.

In a situation like that, you want to get set up and establish position but then you've got to start moving and you've got to get their guys on their heels and the puck on the net. Don't have to shoot every single time the puck is possessed but they were too stagnant. They did a beautiful job on the PP in game 1. More of that will be crucial.

and everything about Game 2 stunk. My Easter eggs are still rotten from having to sit there and watch that display.

Not only does Hank need to step it up... McD needs to get that shoulder healthy and start playing like the phenominal D-man we all know he is... and our forwards need to start finishing their opportunities...

...but all eyes on AV tonight too. He's notorious for getting outcoached come April & May. Berube made some critical adjustments in game 2 that paid off... now its up to AV to counter.

I think we watched a different game.

I saw the Rangers control the play and get more shots. I saw a lack of execution on chances and a couple of brain farts that ended up in the Rangers net, but nothing closely resembling "disgraceful effort"..

but they certainly took their foot off the gas after that 2-0 lead. The Flyers controlled the play for the majority of the game after that as the Rangers tried to get their groove back. Once you lose it, it's hard to get it back, that's why you need that killer instinct and step on their throats.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. I don't think AV feels he needs both Dorsett and Carcillo. I think he wants to stick to trying to outskate and out chance them. He's probably stressed discipline 100x since Sunday.

He's been in on the forecheck and his only discipline "gaffe" was a bullshit diving call.

Fast should be the one Carcillo is replacing.. makes more sense. But if it's not, I'm assuming his rationale is something along those lines.
