A player from a source that NYG is "HIGH" on is Joel Bitonio. I don't know where they would draft him. (Should go after 1st but before second). They like his flexibility (like Martin). Just a name who hasn't been thrown around here much. Obviously picks before #12 dictate a lot. Keep a look out.
Very good chance he isn't there with our 2nd pick.
'Nuff said
I think he meant our picks in those rounds.
My fear is that the OL prospects thin out around the middle of round 3, so if we want a guy who could play in his first year we'd better take one early.
He's easy to like the more you read about him.
I liked Gabe Jackson as well, but he's less versatile and doesn't play to his size.

Ty!
Are you kidding? Bitonio has been talked about quite a bit here.
If Joel Bitonio in round 2, where does he play? He's never played guard in college. I hope he can make the transition.

They worked him out at every position in the Senior Bowl and he responded very well.
I agree. Offensive tackles usually go earlier than predicted.
What meaning is there to any player "soaring up the draft boards"? Who is it that has access to the draft boards of the respective 32 teams? And if the answer is "nobody has that information" (which we know IS the answer), then we're talking about draft boards of people OUTSIDE of the NFL - which are worth ... well, what we all pay for them. So, Botonio is moving up in a bunch of non-NFL draft boards - and that is supposed to be significant because it signifies what exactly? That non-NFL people like him? That the 32 teams are watching those boards and therefore they adjust THEIR boards because of some mock draft lists published on the internet?
And - while I'm thinking about it - what kind of stupid thread is this anyway (sorry Carl, nothing personal) - but THE ONLY INFORMATION RELEASED BY TEAMS IN ADVANCE OF THE DRAFT IS MISINFORMATION. So, if anything, this means the Giants AREN'T interested in Bitonio (which is too bad, because I keep scoring an "A" when I grab him on first-pick.com)

Christ, this is, at least, a 5-round deep OL draft, with prospects of good quality at all levels. On what do you base your contention that OL will "thin out" in the middle of Round 3?
But that meeting doesn't matter.
BBI is convinced there is no upside, whatsoever, of letting other teams know what you generally think about a position or a player prior to the Draft.
