you want a guy with CF range playing RF at Fenway. And you can hide a defensive liability in LF so long as they learn how to play the carom off the wall.

they need another OF designation for what is classically LF

for Fenway. I'd stick the 3B with the best cannon (all other things being equal) out in that spot. That wall sure is a doubles killer.

you don't need to play LF deep, for a horrible defensive player in a typical outfield Manny Ramirez actually got to be really good at judging the plays off the wall letting him cut down anything hit shallow in front of him.
