the umpire check the pitcher every single inning for the rest of the series if I'm Girardi. The only reason Farrell didn't check last game was because he knew his pitcher was doing the same thing that night, as Buchholz always does.

Farrell would know better than to have guys checked when he has Lester and Buchholz as 40% of his rotation. This is not going to end well for the Red Sox, these guys aren't going to get away with the stuff they have for years now. It's kind of an unwritten rule not to check guys. It doesn't matter if its blatant, they know when guys are doing it and can have them checked whenever, but most managers never even consider it because they knew their guys are doing it too.
