that the FCC will be watching for business practices that limit competition and harm consumers. The FCC may not be able to craft net neutrality requirements that satisfy the courts, but they can still move against companies that adopt practices that injure consumers under anti-trust, etc.
I wouldn't assume the worst on this. I guess I'd watch for the worst and hope for the best.
rampant underemployment, expensive non-universal healthcare system, raided retirement/ social security and more government protection for technology monopolies. The results are extremely high barriers of entry for new companies, employees and entrepreneurs. It really makes one stop and think about all the great ideas and talent that are rotting on the shelf.
If our leaders don't get it together...well, we'll be leaving a lot on the table.
I thought about how laughable it is to expect a federal regulatory agency to look out for the interests of the general public against the moneyed interests of giant corporations. Sad, but not unexpected.
