just got drafted by the seahawks. Also, we all know what Perry Fewel can do with safeties... Lets give this guy a chance.

Reese needs to go, he's clueless.

Another fucking broken record. You must be Mendenhall's 2nd head. You need to go, you're clueless.

I think they share the same head.
I never watched him play
PaulBlakeTSU : 5/10/2014 6:20 pm : link
live. I haven't watched him on TV. I haven't met with him, worked him out, or broken down his film to see what his potential upside or and how he fits what our team wants to do.

But I threw the remote because I never heard of him so it must be a reach.
seems like a real player
GiantsFan84 : 5/10/2014 6:39 pm : link
just wonder if his measurable will hold up at the NFL level
Headhunter. you are singling out people with negative opinions

on draft..me included. You have to admit, this draft is bad.. As a fan of this team, I deeply care who gets drafted and I have made it clear in previous posts this draft exemplifies giants miss Gettleman.

Please let all people post there opinions so long as there are no naughty words
Rich, you have a point.

Unfortunately, it's on the top of your head.

Lol
LOVE this pick

Instinctual, aggressive - good tackler.
He's a role player for sure
Joey in VA : 5/10/2014 9:26 pm : link
But he'll be a fan favorite if you like effort, tenacity and aggression. He plays way faster than he times, he feet go a hundred miles an hour and he breaks down and accelerates well. If he was 6-1 and a touch faster he's a 2nd rounder. He's too aggressive at times but he should be a demon on special teams, I can see him being a great gunner.

He's one of those guys who the more you watch, the more you see, he really really grows on you. He'll have trouble with numbers we have Rolle, Hill, Brown, Demps, Cooper but he'll be hard to cut once he shows his ST ability. I'm rooting for him, I really really like the way he plays football.
yes
blue42 : 5/10/2014 10:12 pm : link
the draft is bad before the guys ever play in the NFL.
Looks like he closes fast
PEEJ : 5/10/2014 10:14 pm : link
and hits a ton
This is a bad
Phil in LA : 5/10/2014 10:18 pm : link
man who happens to be just a tad short. And it's probably one of the things that keeps him pissed.
The same thing kept my ex pissed.

:(
Berhe's response
PaulBlakeTSU : 5/10/2014 10:23 pm : link
to critics saying he's too short. I love the chip on his shoulder; he's focused on the height slight.

Read his interview on home page

Q: What were your expectations here in the draft? What were you being told about where you thought you would be going?

A: You hear multiple things from different teams. I heard from the Steelers that if I was available in the third round they would get me in the third or the fourth. I heard fourth of fifth. It was all in the same area. I mostly heard fourth or fifth.

So the Steelers were saying third or fourth.. He was hearing fourth or fifth.. but the GIANTS somehow had it wrong.. ok...

oops

didn't realize it was already posted
watching his highlights -
Del Shofner : 5/10/2014 10:35 pm : link
I know they're highlights, but he seems to do a couple of things very well besides the big hits. One is avoiding traffic - he has quick lateral movement and seems to avoid blocks well. The other is reading where the play is going.
This player is going to help us
Marty866b : 5/10/2014 11:02 pm : link
And yes, I've seen him play. At the very least, this guy is going to be a very good,if not great, special teams player. Also, I think he will be one of the outside guys blocking on punts which we has been a problem for us.Our punt returners never seem to have any room after the catch. Behre is extremely physical. I don't know if we really needed another safety but I think he's going to contribute.
This guy seems like a possible great fit
Blue Blood : 5/10/2014 11:05 pm : link
for Fewell's three safety package as he already plays as a hybrid LB/S....
guys, you will love him
SHO'NUFF : 5/11/2014 7:24 am : link
I watched every game...probably nearly every game of his career at State...he's a player. The only problem with drafting him is he couldn't bring his fullback with him to the team. (Jets picked him up as a UFDA, Chad Young, you'll hear his name again).
hybrid LB/S
Bill in UT : 5/11/2014 11:42 am : link
I believe he's big enough for safety at 186, but I think that's a bit of a stretch for LB

He's listed at 196 I believe, and he said he played last season at about 200. No problem with size.
yeah, my bad
Bill in UT : 5/11/2014 3:48 pm : link
I put down Mathieu's weight by mistake. 200 is still too small for LB tho. Taylor is the S/LB hybrid on the team and he's a way bigger guy. Doesn't hit like Berhe, tho
