I'm trying to pick games I share a season ticket with and eight out of twelve games are indicated as flex scheduled.
WTF? I can understand the last couple of games as races tighten up, but this is starting at game number five.
Driving from Durham, and meeting people along the way, it's sketchy trying to make plans.
Anybody else as pissed as I am?
Felt like I was a mile and a half away from the field.. Spent more time watching the big screen.. Not like my uppers in the old place... Loved those seats!
My only stipulation was that I can pick one game to go to each year when the schedule comes out. I still enjoy the tailgate - but the home experience has eclipsed the stadium experience... I am happy to keep the tickets in the family though...
It's more of an issue than this. Let's talk about TV and the commercials.
it's gotten to the point where, outside of maybe the first 2-4 weeks, I don't watch any football games other than the Giants game anymore. The commercialization of the sport has gone too far for my taste.
I really don't feel like spending 3.5 hours to watch a 60 minute game anymore, especially after seeing soccer games take 2 hours.
Plus, even if i could afford them, I wasn't enamored with the seats. One of the offers were for the lower deck in the corner of an end zone, near the top of the section. The view from those seats in the new stadium was not very good and not worth the crazy cost, in my opinion.
Tailgating was the only reason we were going anymore. Hell, we'd be more likely to just buy a parking pass and tailgate and leave before the game starts.
