OTA Update No. 3 (final until mini camp)

Connor_Hughes : 6/11/2014 1:53 pm
Fans,

(Sorry this is coming a little later than usual)

As has been the case for the past two media-open OTAs, BBI will be in attendance tomorrow. For the final time until mini camp, now is your chance to have your questions answered.

Voice below any question, comment, concern or observation you want BBI to keep an eye out for tomorrow. At the end of tomorrow's practice report, you'll find those questions answers.

Following tomorrow's OTA, the Giants will have off until mini camp (17-18-19) next week. After that, the team will be not regroup until training camp the end of July.
I'd love to hear how the WR feel about

the new offensive system. Obviously there is less reactionary adjustments, which Randle struggled with last year, so it would be great to know if they are happier.

Ugh, this is starting to become a pet peeve for me. If you don't want to call him by his real name, at least get his nickname/initials right.

It's "OBJ".

Where many of us come from you don't get to/shouldn't make up your own nickname. That is for others to do. If we want to call him ODB that is our prerogative and unless Becks himself complains I see no reason to stop

You're kidding right. You've heard of old dirty bastard of wu tang. Oh Dell Beckham. ODB. It's not going away , it rolls off the tongue, and has a funny connotation. This one is a battle you're losing. I suggest dropping the resistance. It's futile
How is Nassib progressing early on in new system vs. Painter?
Shaolin Shadowboxin' : 6/11/2014 8:18 pm : link
How about Damontre Moore's progress (difficult to evaluate from mini camp) and where they have him lining up, anything special?
Thank you.
Does Jay Bromley move & look like an NFL player?
Tom in NY : 6/11/2014 10:21 pm : link
He was the best player on Syracuse's defense last year, but is he ready to contribute at the NFL level (I know, hard to tell without contact).

Ummmm the nickname he has been called by others most of his life (including by his teammates at LSU and now others on the Giants) is "OBJ". If you followed SEC football and the draft you would know this. His twitter name is OBJ_3 for Christ's sake!

Well where I come from, you'd get your ass kicked for making up a nickname that makes no sense. His name is Odell, not O'dell, ODell, O.Dell or O-Dell. You can call him what you want, I just find it silly considering he already has an established nickname and it uses his actual 3 initials (imagine that!).

And for the record, I am very familiar with Ole Dirty Bastard.

Where do you come from? Assholeville?
I'd be curious to know
NNJ Tom : 6/12/2014 8:45 am : link
from Chris Snee how the new o-linemen are fitting in. The line has a culture of its own and I wonder if the new guys are embracing it like Dave D and Rich Seubert.
No deal with Tom Crabtree

Move on
Motioning WRs
g-baby : 6/12/2014 10:36 am : link
Are you seeing the WRs put in motion pre-snap? One of my gripes when KG's offense would stall and it seemed the DBs would be blanketing our WRs (Cruz in particular) is that he rarely/never motioned the WRs to find favorable matchups. I think with the speed/quickness we have in our WRs like Cruz, Beckham and Jernigan we should be moving them around to get them the ball quickly and with some space to work in.

Please ask our first round pick if he prefers ODB or OBJ? It seems to be the question of the day.
