Connor Hughes Mini Camp Updates

Connor_Hughes : 6/16/2014 3:19 pm
Fans,

Tomorrow morning the Giants will hold their first mandatory minicamp of the 2014 offseason. As was the case during OTAs, I will be in attendance.

Sticking with the routine we held throughout the OTAs, if you have something you want asked to a player or observed, please voice it below. At the bottom of tomorrow's camp report, you will see your questions answered.
With the possibility of Beason being out a bit

Keep that up. BTW, there is some back and forth here on Kuhn's weight. If you get a chance to ask him it would be an interesting if minor detail.

invovle contact along with the pads and if so how hard is it?

Also if you can please give us a breakdown of the drills performed by the lines?

Finally for the offense, does it look like they are continuing their short game focus or have they opened up more deeps balls than in the OTA's?
How is Kerry Wynn doing?
Bobby Epps : 6/16/2014 4:05 pm : link

No, no serious contact, same as OTAs. Two-a-day practices on two of the three days.
I would just ask for your overall views of

how the Tight Ends look with the first and second teamers.

Have fun tomorrow...

ARE the actual updates?
Eric, you said in your 5:10 post that 2 of the 3 days had

2 a day practices, but your schedule only shows one practice each day. Which is right?
Question
Trainmaster : 6/16/2014 7:45 pm : link
Given that defenses are typically ahead of offenses early in the OTA/Minicamp/Training Camp cycle:

Does the defense look even further ahead, given the new system on offense, or have all the defensive personnel changes in the back 7 since the end of 2013 somewhat offset the new system on offense?

I suspect the defense will be way ahead of the offense and we won't know if / how well the new offense is working until the 3rd preseason game.

What Eric posted is the media schedule. The team holds other activities to which the media doesn't have access, such as meetings and a separate walk-through practice, the latter of which is usually held in the morning before we even get there.
thanks
