After going to the Carolina game the last two years I experienced the highs and lows (it was bad) of being an opposing fan at another team's stadium.
My favorite was the Monday night game against Atlanta in 07' - by the 4th quarter the Georgia Dome might as well have been Giants Stadium. Towards the end of the game we were chanting a bunch of players names and O'Hara pointed towards Eli (his back was towards us) as Eli's popularity (and likely confidence) wasn't what it is now. Nice move by O'Hara and funny in retrospect as we didn't know what Eli had in store for us later that year and 4 years later!
Which game was your favorite?
A couple pick sixes for us, and a huge day running the ball.
New York-38 Buffalo-21
I was at that one too!
I went to KC and saw them beat the Chiefs in 09. Arrowhead was a pretty cool place to go.
Washington Redskins 7
The game where Jeff George came in and almost won the game for Washington.
BRAD DALUISO MVP!!
Just kidding. That game farkin' sucked and I'm so glad that I lost every toe due to the cold to snooze through it. At least I can say I saw one of Deion Sanders interceptions in person even if it was bad for my team I guess, so there's..... there's that.
This game was actually close most of the first half. The Giants lead 6-3 at the two minute warning, but two quick touchdowns put the giants up 20-3 and the home crowd turned ugly. The second half was great, the Giants put together a couple of long time consuming drives that ended in points. Every time the Eagles made a mistake the Vet let them hear it.
'07 in Tampa was fun and exciting being a playoff game but it felt like we had that game the entire time. Gathering behind the bench after the win and screaming back and forth with the guys behind the Giants bench was great. Never forget Diehl was one of the last guys to leave, fist pumping and howling up at the crowd.
Going to opening night this year in Detroit hope that one ends well too.
These teams should have met again for the NFC Championship. Unfortunately, Flipper Anderson had other ideas.
November 27, 1989 - ( New Window )
And a tie at RFK stadium on a rainy November Sunday night (Gus Frerrotte headbutt in the end zone; michael westbrook helmet off in OT game)
I'm not likely to go to any more.
Tiki's 90 yd TD run...and huge goal line stop by Tuck at DT (his sort of coming of point imo on how good he was) and stopping QB sneak. Fun time...met and talked to ESPN worker on the field and they were having a get together in SF later..which we went to later..great time
Down by 17 to comeback and win in OT. Should have mentioned that in case people don't remember.
There's nothing like seeing the Manning Magic in person...
The Jets game in 2011 was also a fun one, but only technically a road game.
I remember Rhonde mouthing off about not being afraid of Eli so it was a very satisfying win and the beginning of a very special playoff run.
That's all I can remember except that the Giants won (16-13?)

I remember that 1st quarter being brutal
Watching Shockey run over Gibson and the Collins to Toomer flea flicker were things of beauty.

The Giants went out and efficiently destroyed the Bucs. Eli was on fire and after the 1st quarter it was all NYG.

It was definitely brutal. The Giants couldn't do anything and the Bucs fans were so into the game. It didn't look good for the G men.
There during the regular season. The giants
Lost that game. So when they were going
back for the championship game. I wanted
to go back and avenge the loss of the regular
season and they did. Eli took a licking and kept
on ticking.
in 1996, they killed the lions 35-7; the garbage time touchdown of defensive tackle ray agnew stripping barry sanders and rumbling in for a touchdown was pure ecstacy. the trashy lions fans were in abundance and they were quite sour but there were a lot of giants fans in the house.
in 1999, they defeated the doug flutie led bills 19-17 on a last minute cary blanchard 48 yard field goal that barely made it over the crossbar on a frigid afternoon in orchard park. no flutie flakes heroics/hail maries. funniest moment was watching some fat drunk dude in a ken hull jersey passed out holding a beer and seeing it slowly tip into his lap as the crowd in the section all followed and cheered with each subsequent movement towards his soon to be drenched pants.
i went to the 2006 monday nighter in dallas that marked the beginning of romo-mania; giants dominated all night, but injuries and a conservative style in the second half almost led to a cowboy comeback until kevin dockery picked off romo in the clutch and ran back a long TD.
Was lucky enough to be at the Tampa game that year too, like many others here have cited already. Ditto Rams '08. Dont get to road trip much any more with young kids these days, looking forward to doing it again later in life. It's a lot of fun.

I will never forget that flea flicker from Collins to Toomer. Thing of beauty. Couldn't have been executed better.
2) 2008 @ Pittsburgh - The two top teams in the NFL mano y mano. Back and forth and the Giants pull out a great win.
3) 2011 @ Jets - I know this sort of doesn't count, but seeing a 99 yd TD run is rarer than a perfect game, so it was amazing to shut all those Jets fans up and have a great Christmas.

That game was my choice as well. The only problem I had was that one of the low classed Philadelphia fans pissed in his beer cup and threw it at me and my friends ( who wre all wearing Giants gear). I hate that Philadelphia team more than any other team in professional sports, and I hope they never win a Super Bowl in my lifetime.
Best raod game I've went to was ND @ Michigan in the big house. ND knocked off a Michigan team taht was in the preseason top 5. Can't say I was impressed with the knowledge of the Big House fans but they did have a nice tailgating scene.
Giants ended up 9-7 and missed the playoffs.
49ers went 11-4-1 and lost to the Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII.
