Have to just ignore him - he's obviously only here to annoy, and it only works if people pay attention to him. You just need a running thread to point out which idiotic handle he's posting under so that people can act accordingly.

Although unlike many here, I liked Filmgiant, I stopped reading his rants long before he was banned. I also do not respond to certain posters as I am sure some never respond to me. There is one poster here who is widely respected by most who has some sort of grudge with me who for a long period of time would continually attack my posts in a personal way and try to bait me into a pissing match. I just never acknowledged his posts no matter what he said. He eventually stopped. It takes some willpower to ignore stuff you could easily respond to from a hostile poster, but sometimes it is the best way.

If 100 people read a thread that has someone like him spamming their uneducated, uninformed nonsense and 98 of them ignore him, the 2 that don't will inevitably get into an argument with him. Then the thread goes flying off the tracks into the valley of JerseyJoe Dumbfuckery below, the discussion is ruined, and that's that.
