And practical reasons - I don't think there's a more diverse collection of fans (rooting for every NFL team), anywhere else- which will make it a lot of fun). I hope it's the Honda Center. I really dislike the Staples Center
But you have to figure it's going to be a traveling show, given the number of strong bids - which is only fair to all the fans around the country.
both for selfish reasons (I'd love to be able to go to the draft) and that there would be a very diverse group of fans in the LA area whp would attend.
At work, I know fans (original home town, not bandwagoners) of the Giants, Colts, Cowboys, Redskins, Lions, Steelers, Chiefs, Raiders, Bears, Rams, Jets, 49ers and Seahawks just on my project.
Than all the other major sports in the draft, but there's no excuse for any fan who attends to be bored.
- I'd suggest two jumbo screens with closed captioning of the NFL Network and ESPN …
- Provide each fan with a free tally list of all draft declared players
- Open up the concessions for fans to buy food & drink for them to party and argue about all the latest picks
Just like we have great fun, here for at least two months before the draft comparing notes about every player we want - I think it would be a lot more fun there, person-to-person.
Radio City is a really boring building. If is in an arena and the floor is open and fans can walk around and enjoy themselves and have the festivities the NFL could actually charge for it. It's a prime time event that people care about. Manny is spot on, the diversity of fandom in SoCal crushes anywhere else. SoCal is transplant central.
I remember hearing there were scheduling conflicts in 2015 with RCMH, hence the move to another city. If MSG is available book it!!

NFL won't deal with MSG after they financed a campaign to vote down the Jets West Side Stadium.
I do still think the NFL needs to move the draft around year to year like the NHL.

Doesn't make much sense, considering MSG owns Radio City.
As for MSG, it has nothing to do with the West Side stadium. Radio City is under the same ownership.

I've had the same thought for years. Don't they have remote camera coverage of teams' war rooms at their own facilities anyway?
