NFT: MLB - Why no games yesterday

Doesn't the second half traditionally start on the Thursday after the ASG? For decades, the day after the ASG was noted as the only day on the calendar on which no games for any big 4 league has a game scheduled. Now, it is the Thursday after the ASG as well?

the AS Game, so they changed the schedule to accommodate.
