The guards likely will be Schwartz and Mosely with Jerry as a back up and Snee retired. If Beatty can play the line will be a strength not a weakness like last year.
before or after we drafted him? We drafted him at a lower slot than many pundits had rated him, but I didn't think much of his college tape. IIRC he looked unathletic and stiff as a collegian.
but if u go back and watch him vs. suh last year, he was doing a nice job but then he did what he was famous for at auburn and got his hand broken in his face mask
but it does not speak well 4 him that he cant stay on the field w/out getting injured either
....being that he has more starting experience but Mosley is younger, cheaper and possibly more talented.
John Jerry has quite a bit of issues. The lingering knee injury that kept him out of all of spring ball, so he is already missing reps in the new offense. He also has had problems keeping his weight down. At times last season, he seems to lack effort and simply played poorly. Throw in the bullying situation and his red flags might just outweigh his potential.
So while Mosley isn't a slam dunk, I don't think Jerry is either.

Mosley spent two years at Auburn. In 2010, he appeared in 14 games with 11 starts. In 2011, he appeared in 13 games with (I believe) 13 starts. Please tell me again what he was famous for at Auburn, because not playing due to injury wasn't it.
I think the coaching staff likes Mosley a lot.
John Jerry is a good insurance policy but if Mosley can stay healthy (big if) I think he is the guy behind Snee. For now.
he will play bad and have to be replaced...
overpayed....underachiever...
Jerry has a lot of talent and experience and the position coach has already said he was signed to start.
I thin it is an open competition which also includes Richburg.
But right now, if it is not Snee, I got to think Jerry is the front runner.
