I like seeing the development of some of the younger players.

Eric Herman, Brandon Mosley, Marcus Harris, Adrien Robinson, Cooper Taylor and Ryan Nassib are all young guys who hopefully improved.

It is also fun to see if any of the undrafted kids impress like Xavier Grimble, Kelcy Quarles, Dan Fox and Justin Anderson are a few I will keep a close eye on.
No one person - but the whole offense.

New system and players...last year the offense sucked the whole preseason. I don't think they scored a TD until some time had passed in the last game...It would be nice to see some positive signs on that side of the ball...
Is Eric Herman an NFL player?

When they got him in the draft last year, he was known as Mr.Pancake. I have never heard a word about his development.

Anyone know if he has improved or is he useless at the NFL level?

Wilson....I'm not ready to give up on him like a lot of guys are. I still think he will be a big time player for us and a match up nightmare as a receiver. Let's see who Philly will cover him with coming out of the back field.
Wilson

Very big gap between the ceiling and the floor.
There are a lot of players

I am really pumped to see. Odell Beckham, Jerrel Jernigan, and Rueben Randle. Beckham of coarse, he is our #1 guy, but I am really hoping to see Jernigan continue where he left off, and Randle finally put it all together, if that did happen, those two alone with Cruz would be plenty of weapons, then you add Beckham and this could turn out to be a very good passing game.

David Wilson, Rashad Jennings and Andre Williams. Williams is a 2,000 yard running back from Boston College, enough said. Jennings is a player I called for in the off season, and I believe he is going to be excellent for us, and Wilson now only needs to play the role that a player like Sproles plays, he no longer is needed to carry the load, and I think in this role he will excel.

Eli Manning and how he does in this new offense, I always wondered if Gilbrides offense was too complicated for the WR's and QB to get on the same page, now I get to find out.

The offensive line as a group, no individuals.

Jason Pierre-Paul, Johnathan Hankins and Damontre Moore. Here is the key, not only to this season but to the future of the Giants defense. In this 4-3 scheme, the defensive line must be a good group in order for this defense to be a good defense, here are the three key players on that line. If Pierre-Paul plays like he did a few years back, and if those flashes that Moore showed us were just the beginning, with this secondary, watch out. The other piece is Hankins, a key to our run defense.

Devon Kennard and Dan Fox, is it possible we have a couple of young linebackers that could actually develop into good players! This would qualify as a miracle since our GM continues to ignore this position year after year.

DRC, Prince, Rolle, Brown, Berhe, Bowman, McBride, Brown, Demps and Thurmond. This has the look to be the best secondary we have had in a very long time, and possibly ever, but they need to play well as a unit, and they need to stay healthy.
Good post Paul

The only thing that I might disagree with is Wilson playing in a limited role. It's been my view that most running backs can't be successful just coming in for a play here and there. They seem to excel when they get a bunch of touches in one game.

If Wilson is very limited, I can see him getting the hebbie-jeebies trying his best to make something happen in his limited role. I think that if he's healthy, he should split series with Jennings to get him up to speed.
honestly

Beatty - is he ok
Schwartz - he better be good or we're screwed
Jerry - Please please please
Snee - I doubt it but you never know
Walton - see Schwartz
Richburg - very excited to see what he can do at C and G
Beatty

#2 - Walton

The whole OL is contingent on him, IMO. Pugh at LT? Then who's at RT? Brown starting at LT isn't exactly comforting.

I want to see him in this new offense. I want to see every throw and passing concept called including formations. So I am very interested in seeing our QB play in a new system.

I agree with this.

The O-line play is the must crucial to our team's success (as it has been the biggest reason for our disastrous play lately), but I'm not "interested" in watching them. I'll be watching them through the fingers over my eyes.
I want to see if JPP will ever be an elite player again
