Great Giant
MookGiants : 7/20/2014 9:34 pm : link
wish it didn't end like this, but for about 7 years he was rock solid and an all-pro caliber guard. Best wishes in the future and thank you for kicking ass for a long stretch
Thanks, Chris

I'm very sad his career ended on such a sour note
Tyrion : 7/20/2014 9:47 pm : link
What a player for he was us. Tough as nails and never backed down.

Thanks for all the great memories, Chris! We will miss you.

and now I wish I voted for you for Giant of the Year.
Heck of a player
LPete : 7/20/2014 9:48 pm : link
Beast in his prime. Best of luck in your future endeavors big fella
I wouldn't say the career ended on a sour note
jcn56 : 7/20/2014 9:50 pm : link
just that it didn't last as long as it should have. Regardless, his tenure included 2 championships that he was an integral part of, and he'll always be remembered as the mauling guard he was in his prime. Best of luck to CS in his post-football endeavors.
As a 23-year old Giant fan

Snee is the first truly great Giant in which I have witnessed his whole career. I will never forget that great line of McKenzie-Snee-O'Hara-Seubert-Deihl. They really dominated, obviously extremely important to our team's success. Can you believe that was five or six years ago? Joked around a bit with him at training camp last year and he was such a class act. Tough way to go out, but a GREAT Giant.

Brandon Mosley, time to rise up...
Sad to see him go...

a great prime cut short by injuries, seemed to be a consummate teammate and a good guy.
Thank you Chris Snee
dpinzow : 7/20/2014 9:59 pm : link
one of the greatest offensive linemen the Giants ever had while in your prime. Deserves a spot on the Giants ring of honor

Eli, DeOssie, and Kiwi are the only Giants left from SB XLII
A class guy, a great Giant, and more importantly

Giant. Great career.

Thank you very much for your outstanding contributions to the Giants Chris. We could not have won two SBs without you. I hope you heal up quickly and completely. Best wishes.
We will never forget the Giants who won these two

Thanks for all your hard work and dedication. You will forever be a GREAT GIANT! It all starts with the line, and you played a huge role in bringing 2 championships to NY. Go enjoy your family and life, you deserve it.
Best of Luck Chris...

Enjoyed watching you these many years. You are not only a great player but also a high class person. We will certainly miss you. Again, the best of luck to you and your family.
The prototypical Giants kind of player.
Crispino : 7/20/2014 11:22 pm : link
Smart, low key, tough as nails, great at his job. Hope we can find more guys in the mold of Chris Snee. Thanks for being a Giant.
By the way, how long before he gets his....

start in coaching? Seems like a natural fit for a former great who's part of the Coughlin Family.
gotta love a player like snee
GiantNatty : 7/20/2014 11:32 pm : link
played tough, played smart, had a tough attitude, and played until he physically couldn't do it any longer. a champion...
I hope his injuries
mrvax : 7/20/2014 11:42 pm : link
aren't severe enough to give him trouble long term. Good luck Chris!
My thoughts exactqly, mrvax,
ktinsc : 7/21/2014 12:45 am : link
as with all NFL players. I hope Chris can recover to a level of health that leaves him with no significant mobility issues going forward. Godspeed Chris and thank you for your efforts.

a true Blue Giant, through and through!
A Giant Great
trueblueinpw : 7/21/2014 1:48 am : link
Lifetime Giant. Two time Super Bowl Champion. And he married the head coaches daughter. I mean, what's left to do?
There were plenty of times that if you
BlueLou : 7/21/2014 2:39 am : link
focused on Snee his blocking looked like an OL instructional video. Great technique and form matched with quickness off the ball and legendary strength.

If he wants it, little doubt he'd be a great coach.

Thanks for your play here Mr. Snee.

Of Snee filling someone up and driving them downfield on skates.

Make it so, BBI!

Maybe I'm forgetting someone, but can't remember a more impactful #76 in blue.

It was great cheering for you Chris.

Good luck.
Sad day

Thanks for representing the organisation so well both on and off the field. You were everything we could want in a New York Giant. All the best in your next endeavours.
Very sad day!

Chris you were one of my favorite O-line of all time! Thanks for all the memories! Was the right decision for you and family! Good luck in the future!
A great Giant
shockey07458 : 7/21/2014 7:56 am : link
Thanks for all the hard work and commitment you gave to us Chris. You were a great Giant and a stalwart on 2 Super Bowl Championships anchoring that O-line. I hope retirement and the second phase of your life is fulfilling and rewarding. You will soon get your place in the Ring of Fame and hopefully one day in Canton.
Great Giant

Thank you Chris and best of luck to you!
He had it all
fkap : 7/21/2014 8:09 am : link
played with a quality team from start of his career to finish. Earned two rings. Had a great career. Made lots of money. From a fan perspective, you could ask for nothing more. I hope the physical toll was not too high a price to pay.

Thank you Mr Snee.
He was awesome for the Giants
Motley Blue : 7/21/2014 8:10 am : link
and the easiest type of player to cheer for.

I do wonder how many of his injuries could be attributed to over-training. The guy was an animal in the weight room & one of the NFL's strongest players, but a lot of those injuries that popped up over the years were right in line with the type of things that end up nagging power lifters.
Congratulations on a great career.
truebluelarry : 7/21/2014 8:20 am : link
I look forward to your induction to the Ring of Honor.
Thank you and good luck to you and your family Chris

Tough, scary and mean spirited on the field. A wonderful family man off the field with a beautiful family. I feel so appreciative of his time on the field and he will always be a NY Giant.
All the best for the best

2x champ. One of the better guards this franchise has ever fielded. Hell of a career.
Great player.
Ten Ton Hammer : 7/21/2014 8:55 am : link
His career wasn't long enough. It's a shame that a POS like Larry Allen got to play 20 years in the league, but Snee barely made it through 10.
Thank you Chris!
Giantgator : 7/21/2014 8:56 am : link
Worked his a** off on the field and in the gym to become one of the all-time Giant greats. Handled the son-in-law business with grace. Came in to the league with Eli and was an integral part of 2 Super Bowl teams. Great career, great citizen. Best of luck.
one of the best Guards we
Simms11 : 7/21/2014 9:02 am : link
ever had. A true Giant great. It's unfortunate that his career was cut short due to nagging injuries, as many linemen can usually play into their mid 30s.

Best of luck.

I hope he'll continue to come around and mentor these other guys.
Thanks, Chris!
