The Rangers have just 4 or 5 major leaguers in that lineup and a kid who should be in AA on the hill. And even the major leaguers with the exception of Beltre are having down years. Andrus OBP of 312? Choo hitting 236? Arencibia as a clean up hitter?

Most underrated player of the past decade imo. He's still a scary hitter even if the rest of that lineup sucks.

Sweeping the Reds was an awesome way to start the "2nd half", but we can't give it back up with a shit series against the Rangers. As thoroughly mediocre as this team is, the post-season is within striking distance and anything can happen in the post-season. Just win baby.

There is no reason not to call up Refsnyder and Pirela to play 2B and RF respectively. They aren't going to release Suzuki, but he should go back to being a 4th OF. Roberts can be released.

good to see. We paid him like an MVP candidate but he hasn't even been an All-Star. Hopefully he finishes the year with a bang. Ellsbury/McCann/Beltran all getting their heads out of their asses is the only way this team will do anything.
