Tough losing two of three to the Padres but we did run into two pretty good pitchers at home and we probably should have won the third game anyway. All right on to the Mariners. Looking at the match ups I feel good about this series. Hopefully we can get back on track.
I'm terrified that he will be the manager again next season...and I really think it's going to happen.
The salt in the wound is that the piece of garbage Tejada was getting the playing time over Flores.

Cesar Puello sighting, he went 3 for 3 as well.
Nimmo HR'd as he passed the mendoza line in AA.
TJ Rivera a robust .348 at AA, Herrera at .345
Marcos Molina 7 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 1BB 8K's. His ERA is at 1.26, .79 WHIP.
What's his scouting report? at 19, I don't think he needs to move up, but if the gnats are playoff bound, maybe they could use him to help in the second half/playoffs.
That being said, the one positive about a bad second half is that we might finally get rid of Terry Collins.

Let's be honest, even after the 8-2 homestand the team was still 5 games below .500 and 7 games out of a playoff spot with half a dozen teams to hurdle for a shot at the wild card. Put differently, we've been irrelevant since May.
I think that we can still have some fun watching the second half. There's a lot of question mark players that I'd like to get some more info on, and I think we'll finally be in position to be objectively optimistic about the team next year.
