The tone of Coughlin’s voice said much more than his words. The coach seemed annoyed and almost depressed regarding the situation. Since being drafted by the Giants, it’s been one hamstring issue followed by another for the team’s first-round pick.
very distrurbing news. with the luck the Jints have had with their Â
Has Zack Martin tweaked anything yet? Isn't it great to pick skill-position players in the first round? They look so good -- and rich -- standing on the sidelines.

Don't think he's tweaked anything yet but he did force Sean Lee to make a move which blew his knee out.
Ya know, which is nice.
Who is the Giants strength and conditioning coach?? Â
with the pre combine training process, whether it is over training, or just the wrong type of training that is used. Training intended for sole purpose of excelling in combine drills...which Beckham thrived in, rather than preparing their bodies for football condition. I dont know that rookies have a higher rate of these types of injuries than the rest of the league, but it sure does seem that way.
Soes anyone besides me remember an interview were OB3 say that he played on hurt Hammy most of last year? When i heard that I cringed for a few reasons.
1) not a good sign we take a guy #1 w/ hammy issue in Senior yr
2) We had pop to land a Stud #1 DT Donald and
3) could of landed versatile OG/OT Zack Martin.
Then still land Richburg in 2nd and comeback in 3rd and grab 6'2 WR Donte Moncreif , or 5'11 John Brown from Pitt st who graded out fastest in NFL at 4.3.
Or we had an option to pass on Richburg and grab our Center in Marcus in 3rd and grab WR in 2nd with a 6'3 Jordan Mathews from Vandy,or 6'0 Paul Richardson from Colorado, or6'1 Davante Adams from freseoSt., or 6'2 Cody Lattimor from Indiana or 6'2 Allen Robinson from Penn St., or take ODB3 team mate 5'11 Jarvis Landry from LSU.
Point is we could of passed on this HAMMY issue. NYG front office had to know this about him and yet still rolled the dice.
What would you rather have? ... ODB, Richburg, Bromley or
OG/OT Zack Martin, 6'3 WR Jordan Mathews and C Marcus Martin or
if the NYG wanted someone to stretch the field and go for a smaller WR with Speed and hands then grab John Brown as he was a 1/2 step faster than ODB
Put more muscle on , they break down.
build the bones up to support the muscle and they are slower.
These guys are exceeding human capacity. That type of muscle that can propel them with super speed and agility makes then vulnerable. Plow horses suffer less injuries than racehorses.

I Love Beckham as a Fan and watched him play in CFB but this is NFL
We passed on moss bc of character. Remember he pushed gf down a staircase, only to see a future HOF go by to the VIKES. Hammys take a year really to fully recover from Its evident he hasn't recovered from his senior year one. Id be curious to see if it is same one or different leg.
what could have been
ZMART, Swartz, Walton, Mosely Pugh D. Fells Jordan Mathews
Randle Eli Cruz
Jennings
I would rather have the player the front office wanted Â
Done for the year.
WTF does that even mean?

It's just amazing to me the amount of rookie hamstring injuries we see every year!
