The mayor, on family vacation in his motherland, enjoyed a pizza in Naples today, making a point by consuming it with utensils."I will continue to express my own culture in my own way and when I get a pizza like that, I'm going to eat with a knife and fork," he said defensively after he was caught using a fork and knife, the preferred method of Sarah Palin and Donald Trump, in Staten Island in January. He said he picked up the habit in his "ancestral homeland."
I can't believe people do this.
ha ha. Maybe one of these days he'll fail into doing the right thing
When you don't live in NY or Chicago sometimes those are the only choices that are worthy.
Trust me on this one.
Here, where our pizzas are a little thicker (even our thin crust) and come sliced, you should eat it with your friggin' hands.
We are so worked up! Man, i'm so mad about this...
You can easily make fun of something then quickly forget about it in 2 seconds like I just did. Try it some time.
Last time I checked I live in America not Italy. They can do it the way they want, we can do it the american way, with your frickin hands.
When in Rome
probably not
Sounds like it's time to invade.
When in Rome
probably not
How about when in Staten Island?
(Granted the only pizza I eat is deep dish meat lovers from my local pizza place. Would I eat a regular slice with a knife and fork? Of course not.)
If someone prefers not getting their hands dirty then so be it... I mean a male who eats pizza w a fork and knife is a bit girly but for a female it's very common
LOL, I'm the same way. The thinner the better.
I have one right in front of me, brah.
1) NY style (and quality) thin crust pizza has to be eaten with your hands.
2) Sicilian style (and quality) pizza also has to be eaten with your hands.
3) Chicago style "pizza" (not really pizza, but I've had some that does taste good) can be eaten with a knife and fork as it isn't really pizza.
4) Franchise pizza (Papa John's, Dominos, Pizza Hut etc.) should never really be eaten, but if one is forced to consume it, the method doesn't matter as it really isn't pizza.
like the people who get all fired up about ketchup on a hot dog, steak sauce, etc.
