McClain's situation was a little worrysome yesterday.

I'm expecting more from Beatty than most here I think.

I am with you on this. I think Beatty plays well this year and the Oline play is much better(course it couldn't be much worse).

He was the big question at a key position as well. They have good OL talent and some depth as well but LT was the issue.

This same turnaround will happen to Giants if starters can stay healthy on the O-Line...

Two years ago, only left guard Evan Mathis was able to play in all 16 games. Eight other players started games at the other four line positions. Peters missed the entire season. Center Jason Kelce played two games. Todd Herremans was available for only eight games. The Eagles went 4-12 that season.

Last season, all five Philly linemen started all 16 games. The Eagles went 10-6.

Beatty looked into the abyss this off-season

The fact that he's back and competing ahead of schedule is heartening. I'm rooting really hard for him.
