he is ranked way too low. He profiles to an above average bat at 2B and, more importantly, a case can be made that he's ready now. I get that he doesn't have the potential of a lot of those other guys, but the fact he's actually performed at a high level in AAA should hold significant weight (most those guys are High A or lower).
Does anyone think there's a chance we could see him this year?
No. He's in High A right now and I think has thrown ~10 innings total (across 2-3 levels). I'd say best case for him is another 1-2 weeks in Tampa and then finishing the season in Trenton. That would give him a chance for a mid-season call-up in 2015.
if they only use him as a lefty hitter, I'm fine with Zoilo, though he should still walk more. Roller is better at getting on base, and would mash in YS.
In any event, we'll probably see some kids after the deadline, if not a little sooner, There are a lot of DFA-able guys on the 40.
And yes, I agree with Dunedin that there are probably several players who could have made that top thirty like Fowler and Pirela who somehow didn't.
But those rankings are all sort of phony. Guys can either play MLB or they can't.
SD. He was dealt for Headley

Probably not. They don't want to have to give him a 40-man spot until next year. That's a good bit of why Refsnyder is still in the minors.
Where is Pirela on this list?
I was rooting for Heathcott too. His personal story was pretty compelling. The kid's life is just filled with bad luck.
