We want to push out status updates to like 60 TV's all around our huge building. I just started to look into it and there are just so many different ways to go.
I'm often shown digital signage

There are companies all over the place who can do that now, and most are going into the content business, entering into deals with Reuters/CNN etc. to private label content.

Do you have any particular questions? The recurring issue you will face is that the DMPs update like routers, so sometimes it just doesn't reboot correctly, or they schedule a reboot during working hours and the screens freeze.

Are you uisng monitors or LEDs?

We're going to use monitors and mainly what I want it for them to show status web pages that will generally be updated daily, although perhaps sometimes more frequently.
In my case, we combined company/local office news

with revolving feeds of private label content, world news, sports, etc., and updated the company stuff as often as we could.

To use a vendor's platform, you have to pay for a DMP box and an annual license, plus an extra fee for private-label content. So you'll have to come up with a content strategy or you'll be wasting money.
