Can someone please tell me how Chris Young keeps getting played ahead of Campbell qand Kirk?Haven't we seen enough of this man? When he came up last night either with the bases loaded or 2nd and 3rd with no outs did anyone in the world expect an RBI?

except it should be Abreu/Cambell only in LF. Like I said earlier, when the Youngs are traded/cut/whatever, I'd consider bringing MDD back up. He's been killing it.

the Number 2 and number 3 pitching staffs coming out of the all-star break so Im willing to give them some slack for going cold. Hopefully the bats get going again tonight although Milwaukee wont be a picnic either.

OBP is ok, but with absolutely zero power and likely not sustainable given how weak his contact is.

my 14 year old son's Cadets team is playing at 9AM tomorrow on the Cyclones field. After coaching little league for 10 years and attending so many Cyclones games I can't wait to see him on the Hill and then manning the 1B bag and hitting cleanup. I can't wait for tomorrow morning!!!

Just posted an article the other day. Basically he has been intentionally walked 10 times to get to the pitcher. Without that his on base percentage isn't good anyway.

let DG take one for the team and try to get through a few more innings to save the BP arms. Back at em tomorrow and try to take 2 of the next 3. .500 Road trip would not be that bad after an awful start against a bad SD team.

How did San Diego almost lose that game when the game was tied? Its not like the Mets were winning when Edgin fell on his fat face.

COULD have lost 2 of 3 very easily. It certainly seemed like the Mets had the momentum after tying it late. Either way. No shame not hitting much against one of the best staffs in baseball. Ill be thrilled if we finish up this road trip .500.

playing ANY team out west because of time change difference is to play .500. Thats not even counting that Seattle is pretty damn good.

and a .500 trip right now. San Diego has some excellent Pitchers, but I think I heard their TEAM batting average is like .215 or something. Need to beat a team like that in a series and we didn't. Fact...

we were within a cunts hair of taking 2 of 3 from the Padres in their territory on the west coast against one of the best staffs in baseball. Im not going to go crazy losing 2 of 3 and then they immediately rectified it taking 2 of 3 from a good Seattle team also away. Im pretty impressed actually. We cant shit the bed here though. Need to at the very least salvage one game and hope for a split before we get to go home and beat up on the Phillies.

He has settled in nicely to being an everyday player.
