per Ranaan Devon Kennard is penciled in as the starter at SAM. Based on what you've seen is that about as meaningful as Adrien Robinson being 5th on the depth chart or do you think he has a shot to break camp as the starter?
I was wondering about Kennard too

though he has been impressing since he arrived.
The big knock on Kennard was his durability.
Klaatu : 7/25/2014 9:54 am : link
But when he was healthy, he was very productive despite playing four different positions for four different coordinators at USC. He's smart, athletic, and a hard worker. I expect him to start sooner rather than later.
From the moment the rookies were allowed to participate,

there has been talk about how fast Kennard has progressed and how quick he's picked things up. In his case it might be legit. Still have to see him hit somebody first though.
Also interested in Kennard

though I imagine he would be with the 2nd team if Beason was out there (with McClain moving to OLB).
Kennard a starter?
NYDCBlue : 7/25/2014 10:41 am : link
What happens when Beason comes back? McClain would slide back over to the strong side I would think. I think Kennard is only a starter while McClain is playing "out of position."
Maybe in the base 4-3.
Klaatu : 7/25/2014 10:52 am : link
Although I'm not sold on McClain as an OLB. In the nickel, I think we'll see Kennard and Williams.

Doubtful. I'd be shocked if Beason isn't out there in the nickel.
