My wife thinks it's weird.. About 11 years now my cousin was watching baseball in middle of the day I'm like what r u doing its summer go outside... I looked up to him so I started reading up on the yanks saw Aaron Boones walk off that made me fully addicted
10 years I don't think I've missed more than 25 games televised.. I dvr games I can't Watch then when I get home I watch it in its entirety
Anyone else the same way? My wife thinks I'm WACKED.. I enjoy it though do you guys watch every game? Most?
most of them. Not all. This year probably like 80%. I'm usually bored watching them this year but I still watch.
Watching a regular season baseball game dvr'd is where I draw the line. I could never do that, if I miss the game i just check the thread here and the box score and read lohud
but the good thing about Game Radio is I can pick my announcer. This season I have learned to habla espanol at the same time I've figured out we suck with RISP.

No kidding. Wheeler wasn't even on the TV screen when Kawasaki threw to first. Brutal.
He was waiting for Ellsbury to bring his glove out......
Twitter is upset because Tulowit*zki is on screen at YS...
0 H 1 R 0 ER 1 BB 2 K 1 HBP. Biffed a routine double play ball and threw a WP to bring that unearned run around but on the whole another great outing, his two best of the season have come in the last two games. They gave him 70 pitches this game (36 were strikes so the control needs some work).
7 IP 3 H zeroes 6 Ks on just 82 pitches against a very good PawSox lineup. One of those starts that reminds you just how good he can be if he ever puts it all together.
quite a bit but his managing last two days with the bullpen has been brutal. If you're willing to bring Betances in, bring him in to start the inning and not Huff. He also should have been pitching in the 9th inning yesterday
under no circumstances should they be pitching to Bautista in that situation. Late in the game, first base open, Navarro on deck? You want to pitch to Bautista? No thanks
And the likelihood that Jeter was going to hit a DP, it was a no-brainer.
4-4
Not one person has suggested that it was a good idea to leave Gardner at first and let Jeter swing. The entire premise is that Gardner needs to steal second. Jeter is not hitting into a do if Gardy is on second
an offer the Cubs could not refuse. Well, first of all, don't all trades kind of need both teams to, you know, not refuse them? But secondly, since I think the gist is that the Cubs would have to be overwhelmed, this IS Jake Arrieta we are talking about, right? I mean, I know he's having a pretty good season, but it is the National League, and most importantly, it IS jake Arrieta. Right?
How is he guessing? Cabrera both failed at least one drug test and had evidence in the Biogenesis scandal. There is no guess work. He was proven to have cheated. Plus, with the money he is making as a result, he probably continued to cheat.
I am glad the Yankees listened to their Major League scouts
and got Headley instead of looking at his stats for the whole year. He is now supposedly healthy and had been hitting for about a month. I love the passion he is playing with and when healthy he really is a very good 3B offensively and defensively.
Of course, next year could get tricky with A-Rod returning. Either A-Rod becomes the DH or one of them moves to 1B and DH to spell Teixeira. If they could somehow rid themselves of Teixeira and Beltran, this move will fit nicely beyond this year.
The overwhelming problem on this team is still their offense. Just about every single night, they are getting the pitching, both starting and relief, to be in and win every game. They don't need to trade for another pitcher. They need a bat.
I also agree with all the critics here. There is no reason to be bunting with Gardner on 1B. You either steal or hit and run. This offense simply can't afford to give away outs, especially at the top of the order.
The reality is Jeter doesn't belong in the 2 hole anymore if this is their mindset. The reality is also that Ellsbury doesn't belong in the 3 hole. Garndner and him should be 1-2 in either order. But, they don't have a legitimate 3 hitter either. IF Headley continues to hit, they could experiment with him 3rd and Jeter maybe 7th. But, we all know that won't happen.

That's if they resign him which is not a guarantee, maybe not even a likelihood at this point. He will command significant money on the open market.
agree with others; no way should he be hitting 2nd; but clueless joe is just like torre - just too loyal to a fault. need to move him down and bring others up in the lineup. and yes, would be nice to hit-n-run one of these yrs. really want cash and clueless joe gone if the we don't make playoffs in this terrible al least :-)

Tulo at the Yankees game today wearing a shirt that says "There's always money". If that's not a sign, I don't know what is. @GreedyStripes
eh, at least he didn't stand there and admire it.
Headley is deadly

Bunt was still an awful play.

Nice professional AB by Beltran before that though.
Giving up an out there with Gardner's speed is so dumb.

I think playing 1st base is hurting him at the plate.
Rays?

Navarro went to az in the randy Johnson trade.
And judging by his body, it's likely he's still got some vitamins he's slamming. Dude is jacked
#Dodgers, #RedSox talking Jon Lester and Matt Kemp trade, source confirms @GordonEdes report.
Sources: Yankees have discussed Jake Arrieta. Told it would take an offer the Cubs could not refuse.
