Marcus ‘Soups’ Harris Hoping for Cruz-Like Giants’ Outcome - ( New Window )
He's got a shot at the #6 spot at least

I not sure Holliday is a keeper and he could even challenge for the #5 spot if Manninham struggles. Nice story.
Has good measureables- 4.50 in 40 and 1.55 in 10 yds.

At this point, based on all we've read, my guess at the 6 WRs are:

Cruz, Beckham, Randle, Jernigan, Harris and Corey Washington, who is a raw project because he played at tiny Newberry College is 6'4", 214 lbs. with 4.50 and 1.56 speed and quickness.
Sorry forgot to add

Manningham but those are my 6 WRs if Mario can't make it.
Hope the kid makes it.

I think your articles have been an awesome addition to BBI but if I could have one minor critique of this specific piece (and this is just a personal thing) but if you are going to mention his nickname and who gave it to him I think you should ask him/include why Macklin called him "Soups" even if he doesn't answer. 100% not a knock, just curious "where" it came from since it's not obvious (at least to me) as if his last name were Campbell or Progresso or something. Totally realize this is minutiae that nobody else likely cares about. Keep the articles coming!
Always tough to see a camp favorite not make the final 53.

Sometimes these guys don't ever become more than that though. There was a (a white guy) WR last year in camp that was turning heads left and right...can't remember his name.

I love rooting for these guys though. The underdogs.

That would be the immortal David Douglas.

With 5th or 6th WR, how many catches do people actually expect these guys to have. Unless there are a lot of injuries, those guys will hardly see the field on offense
If a contenders for fifth and sixth WR don't bring value on specials,

they probably don't make it.

But before we pencil Mario in, he needs to show that the knee can hold up and that he's confident in it. Would hate to let a young guy with potential go and carry Mario, and then Mario's out by October with a knee problem.

And here I always thought McNabb's nickname was "soups".
