certainly good that he doesnt have a torn hamstring but theres got to be some nagging microtrauma there or hed be on the field. Hopefully its low grade
100%. Giants were stupid to let him out there. Just let it heal. There is that element with Coughlin like your dogging it with a hammy. That is called for when you have Plaxico Burress, a known dog, doing it. With all others it should be innocent until proven guilty. Just let them alone. Coughlin, is still doing it, even now. Just pointless.
Negative on something more serious. Must not have been healing at the rate they would have expected so they probably sent him for the MRI for precautionary reasons. Still a positive that it did come back negative.
Happened to me two years ago. Injured my hamstring, came back too early after rehabbing it, injured the hamstring again and find out it was a grade 1/2 tear and I was out for about 6 weeks.
I'm going to see the positive in this and be happy that it came back negative. It's obviously not good that he has a hamstring but today's MRI was a positive result.
Plaxico Burress is a known dog?????? Where did you pick up that pearl of wisdom? He practiced and player every game in 2007 with a set of injuries that would have sent most NFL players to the sidelines. I guess he didn't come back from the gunshot in time for the playoffs in 2008.

Ha!! This occurred to me too but I was too lazy to look for a clip.
We pretty much knew he didn't have a serious hamstring issue.
But he has one...and he could make it worse if he comes back too soon.
ha ha - perfect.
This was just precautionary and I assume to see if it was healing.
But the bigger issue is still there. Hammies are tricky and they are very susceptible to re-injury.
We saw that with Aaron Ross a few years ago. He kept trying to come back too soon and basically didn't play a whole year.
I guess what I'm saying is this... we will have no idea when he will be back, and even if he does come back, it could still be a ticking time bomb.
He had this at the mini-camp...fast forward to July when you figure he would be fine...and he aggravates it immediately.
I'm going to see the positive in this and be happy that it came back negative. It's obviously not good that he has a hamstring but today's MRI was a positive result.
Seriously, Lou?
I've come to expect shit like that from some of the other yahoos here. The butthurt is strong with them. I expected better from you, though.
...and straight line speed, can't we use him as backup left tackle?
(:-)
Guilty until he can prove his innocence.
