and either one of Bennett Jackson or Charles James are going to suffer a minor injury in practice or during a preseason game and they will be stashed on IR.
Rolle's comments. With his rep as a big hitter thought he would get in a good pop sometime during practice but then again he's a rookie and it's only been one week and just a couple of days we full pads.
If Taylor can challenge him for the #3 safety, the numbers could conceivably break against him. Several Giants can return kickoffs, and Wilson remains a tempting option there.
Ultimately, injuries will go a long way toward sorting the DBs. Demps - like Jackson, Berhe, Bowman, James, McBride, Hosley and others - can't afford to miss much time.
I don't think Demps is a lock. Demos is the very definition of Just A Guy and there are plenty of other options at the return spots. If Berhe flashes any kind of talent in the preseason I'd rather see him stick.
So a team is going to trade us a starting-caliber left tackle for a defensive player who can't even make our team. Why don't you hold your breath waiting for that to happen?
But I think he's going to have to fight to make this roster. Carrying five safeties will be difficult, and Cooper Taylor appears to be ahead of him.

Seems kinda counterintuitive. Demos is a small fast S. You'd think he'd be a coverage guy. But he's been pretty average in that role.
Not known as a thumper I think. But that seems to be the plan for him this year.
He wouldn't make it to the practice squad. Another team would definitely claim him off waivers.
forget te.....we need left tackle..
we have a lot of D players who won't
make roster. ..trade one
