(New Report Segment): Player Spotlight?

Connor_Hughes : 7/29/2014 9:51 am
Fans,

Wanted to start something a little new with the camp report. Because the individual portion of practice follows the same routine over, and over and over again, I wanted to change it up.

Per fan vote below, during that portion of practice I will spotlight whatever player earns the most votes. I'll watch his every move, where he runs and what he does and keep an accurate note of everything.

Along with the updates on the different phases of practice, you'll see the 'Player Spotlight' portion.

Please submit your requests up until practice begins at 1:20. Whichever player earns the most votes will be spotlighted.
Hankins.

I'm expecting his bathroom habits as well.

Thanks!

I'll put in a vote for the 2014 Giant's Leading Scorer
Jimmy Googs : 7/29/2014 10:07 am : link
Brandon McManus
Connor, this is off topic a bit,

but I'd love it if you asked TC about why Schwartz is playing LG and Mosley (and others) RG. My understanding is that Schwartz has traditionally played RG, and without Snee there he could move back to his more comfortable spot, especially since Mosley has seen time at both positions and played LT at Auburn.

Thanks.

Brandon McManus

He already gets the spotlight every other day when he actually kicks.

I was going to say Kennard but all the beats seem to be highlighting his performance (though not play-by-play).

So I'll say Richburg. Bonus if you can also chart Walton.
JPP and Beatty

We really need these guys to step up this year. Especially JPP. Keep focused on these guys.

Eli Manning....

Want to know how he fits in with the new O, Does he look comfortable?? Is he throwing to the right receiver, and how accurate are his throws.

Most importantly....how do the screens look??!!
Jason Pierre-Paul

With his rough past couple of seasons I'd like to know if he is rounding back into the form we expected from him after the promising start to his career. His ability to be that player or not, I think will make the biggest impact on the success of the defense.
Beatty

assuming e is anywhere near full speed.

I also expect very close competition at the RB group. So assuming you can focus on them as each takes a rep with the string unit, that may be a way to go,
How about the JPP of Tight Ends?

Adrien Robinson is a mystery to me. What is he like & does he plan to celebrate when he catches his first pass in a game?

fast paced OC.
At least there should be less delay of game penalties, and time-outs because of the clock.
How about the new leader of the defense

Trel, How is taking to being the leader and head guy this year?
Cromartie

Is my pick. Is he a leader? Is he making plays? Where's he lining up?

Beatty

Gets my vote...

and if Wilson is out with a burner...

I'd like to have the spotlight on Rashad Jennings.
ok

1. cooper taylor - it could mean a lot to this defense if those physical skills figure out where to be on the field.

2. reuben randle - huge opportunity for him this year, are the subtle jabs at his concentration and work habits warranted?

3. jd walton - can he anchor the center of the line? how's he working, does he have complete confidence in the leg, and is he taking charge vocally?

Connor: Good stuff on Beatty today.
Big Blue Blogger : 7/29/2014 8:23 pm : link
He's a puzzling player, and just about the polar opposite of his predecessor, Diehl, the relentless overachiever. Physically, Beatty is close to the prototype left tackle - a frustrating case of, "Looks like Walter Jones; plays, all too often, like Jughead."
