NFT: Where to watch the Giants in The Netherlands?

bc0312 : 7/30/2014 8:23 am
So it looks like I'll be heading to The Netherlands in November and will be there the day of the 49ers game. Does anyone know of any places in the Den Bosch ('s Hertogenbosch) area (about an 1.5 hours southeast of Amsterdam) that I can catch the game?

The only place that I have found so far is in Amsterdam but since the game won't end until after 11pm, the train service if very sporadic at that point.
What about on your computer?

but the internet speed in the hotel I'm at can barely support sending an imessage, nevermind streaming live sports.

The Dutch, I believe are the tallest people on Earth. Which is a bit funny, since they might be the lowest country in Europe.
I have had this problem in Europe before

it is next to impossible to figure out bars, etc that will have the game on. International broadcasts don't work the same way as US, and it isn't as restrictive as the US, so it isn't like you can find out who is broadcasting Fox, and then go there, since they may be showing other games.

the fact that is scheduled at 1pm makes it harder since some international broadcasters can choose between different games.

the good thing is that SF + NY are both popular abroad, so you may have a shot.

I would check out bars when you get there, and ask - then have firstrow or other app as a back-up.

but plenty of bars will have the game on tv. I've watched two games in the past while in Amsterdam and wasn't a problem finding a bar.

I'll be in 's Hertogenbosch aka Den Bosch. Yes the 's is part of the city name. It's an awesome medieval walled city with canals and everything centered around the central square.

I go there a few times a year for work so I've done the sightseeing and other fun stuff already, although I always find something new to do. Typically, I fly over on Monday night and head to the office on Tues-Friday so I have never had to worry about where to watch football. This time I'm flying over Saturday (arriving Sunday) for a Monday morning meeting.

Maybe I'll just stay in Amsterdam for that Sunday night and catch a really early train into the office on Monday morning.

Thanks guys.
The Dutch..

When I was in Netherlands neither Myp2p or First Row was working. I saw them blocked by gvmnt.

Ok was VipBox and StreamHunter, but it had sh***y streams.
