You are always greatly missed. Every Giants season brings on fond memories of tailgating, autograph seeking, mimosas and friendship. Let's all raise a drink tonight in celebration of our dearly departed. Love ya lady!
Yeah you would have liked it. She had a conference there about every year. She would e-mail when and we would plan an evening, anything from eating out to one time waiting hours trying to meet Kerry Collins in a hotel just to tell him we had enjoyed his years with the Giants. We always had fun and would sometimes laugh about some of the silly things that happened that year on BBI. When we first started the tradition it was my wife and I driving down to meet her. Then over the years my son was born and would come along, a couple years later his baby sister joined the tradition. She loved for us to bring the children, she was great with them. I really miss those visits.
I met back in 2005. She immediately took DC and I under her wing. I think about her all the time. She was a wonderful person and a great Giant fan. RIP my friend.
However when I was going through my lung surgery for cancer she made a point of telling me that she was praying for me. You know lots of people said that but there was something extra special about her message to me!!
Always wishing you were still here, but you're always here in spirit and in our hearts. Thank you for the help you gave Mario, who was so glad he had a chance to chat with you at the game just four days before you passed. He was as upset as the rest of us.
Love always.
I said it on her Facebook page but I'll say it again here as well...
I will always cherish the memories of winning the HopeJ award/contest on BBI back in 2010. Taking my brother to the game and walking on the field, meeting players...etc.etc...was special to say the least.
I swear...earlier today my memory flashed back to the RIP thread on BBI. That's just frickin ridiculous. On the soul of my daughter out of nowhere I thought about that sad day on BBI....so weird.
I will always remember hanging with you at the games!
Many blessings and prayers!
This.
