Lester being sought by Cards and Pirates with Dodgers still in the mix.
Ryan Ludwick is apparently on the block. Has an option for next year, at 36 would be a youth movement for the Yanks.
Ned Coletti says Matt Kemp will not be dealt.
The Phillies are apparently asking too much for just about everyone.
Never at any point in his career has he been tremendous

Just get the guy healthy for a change and I'll be happy. I suspect if hes throwing 65 pitches he'll be ready after two more starts at the latest if we need him.
Stephen Drew's offensive season makes Derek Jeter's season look like Troy Tulowitzki's
Prado has struggled at Chase Field, batting .261 there and .279 on the road.
Also, shorter porch for him to get back some power he lost.

Chase Field - 330 ft
Yankee Stadium - 318 ft

Drew and Prado and ... who's the third?
Esmil Rogers, RH pitcher we claimed off waivers?
thanks Yat.
Don't listen to these clowns, your info is appreciated
In 13 and 14, RH batters hit home runs more frequently per AB in Yankee Stadium than any park but Toronto. http://rotogrinders.com/pages/Ballpark_Factors-49556
But it's not a big deal either way, considering Prado isn't what you'd call a power hitter
from SI.com:
The Yankees claimed right handed reliever Esmil Rogers off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays. Rogers is 0-0 in 19 games with a 6.97 ERA with the Blue Jays in 2014. Rogers isn’t an improvement over what the Yankees have in their monstrous bullpen, but he is insurance in case of injuries or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
Rogers come in to the organization like Jeff Francis did. Meaning it’s a “Eh… You never know” type of acquisition. More than likely Rogers will report to Triple-A Scranton Wilkes/Barre for some time and may find his way to the Bronx around September during roster expansion call-ups… or if the organization decides it can’t get any worse.
replaces Kelly Johnson
Interesting that prospects are being valued so highly by both buyers and sellers and there seemed to be a market inefficiency associated with that (like the Ray's seemingly selling Price low by overvaluing prospects).
They certainly were not going to get more over the winter
They could have waited until the offseason and gotten more. Fuck, they might have waited until next year's deadline and gotten more.
Now I can sit and read through all your opinions here - don't need the other thread for that.
Thanks!

I don't see Girardi mixing up the top with the way they've been hitting lately. I could see him keeping McCann at 6 but i'd like to see him at 8, so I'm going to say he'll bat 7. Prado has been mainly sitting at 5 or 6 in ARZ lineup.
BTW, I didn't realize til now that Drew has been hitting decently as of late. BA has jumped from .128 to .176 in three weeks.
The Red Sox lineup should also be interesting tomorrow.
