I watch the Giants all the time and they are not a moneyball, take a bunch of pitches team. Not quite sure about the first-pitch fastball approach. This is really basic stuff
The Giants went 16-29 after sweeping the Mets earlier this year. 3rd worst record in MLB over that span. Seems appropriate that they come back and beat up the Mets.
It would put an end to any delusion they might have of making the playoffs. Then perhaps they can dump Abreu and C Young, bring up MDD and let Flores play.
