Richburg has been taking snaps at LG since Day 1. He's played more there in the preseason than any other position. This has been covered in the game reviews.

Hasn't worked?

You do realize this line has only been practicing together for a few weeks?

Also, how is a guard more natural at the right or left side?

My gut tells me the first team offense will play much better this week

Embarrassment has a way of motivating people. This is a new offense; a new OL; many new faces; so, what do you expect early on?

Eli does scare me a bit since he's basically struggled since the end of 2012. But if this OL can put it together and Odell is for real at WR along with the other skill position players I think we can at least be serviceable.

As the season goes, I know we will get better. Just get the cobwebs out and don't turn it over! Run!!
Eric: "natural" in that the ONLY side that Schwartz has ever

played, in college and the pros, is the right side. So, the footwork, technique, etc. must feel more "natural" to him after all these years instead of learning the footwork, technique on the left side.

Question is, why does TC want one of the top 2 FA signings (DRC being the other)to learn a new position, that of LG? If there is a reason I wish someone would explain it?

Apparently Odell Beckham got hit in the leg while completing his catch-and-run. He did not return take another snap but supposedly he's ok.

I saw the play. He wasn't touched. He hoped on one leg right at the end of his run. He definitely tweaked the hammy.
