NFT: Fantasy Football - Thinking of changing providers...

Been in Yahoo for years... Thinking about going to NFL.com... I hate CBS... Anyone like NFL...
For football,

I've always been an advocate of yahoo over CBS. I never saw the value in paying for a site for fantasy football. I still don't see the value in paying, but yahoo really sucks with all their changes. It's almost like they sat in a room and tried to figure out a way to make everything yahoo more unusable and less user friendly.
We've been on CBS for over 10 years (I think)

This look of the site has become a train-wreck. Whoever is responsible for 50% of the page to be white (blank) should be fired.
i like espn

Also CBS has the tendency to crash. Happens almost every time I open up my league page in Firefox.
Anyone use

NFL.com?
ESPN blows....

I like yahoo much better. I play in 2 leagues and used both Yahoo and BSPN.
NFL.com is OK
Bramton1 : 8/20/2014 12:30 pm : link
It's decent, but nothing great. The mobile app has been unusable for the past few years, although NFL.com said they completely redesigned this year's version, so we'll see.

One of the features that drew me to NFL.com is the ability to have your championship game extend over two weeks. On other sites you can do this, but for every playoff game.

That being said, I'd drop NFL.com in a nanosecond if I could find a free alternative that allows you to create a schedule where teams are playing more than one opponent in a single week.
I wish yahoo would give the option
Blue Baller : 8/20/2014 12:42 pm : link
to hold the final game over weeks 16 and 17

that is my only complaint
why would you want to be playing
YAJ2112 : 8/20/2014 1:19 pm : link
in week 17?
The NFL fantasy Football App is fantastic

The drafts are live and interactive with the other GM's. I love the ease of use. I was a big advocate of ESPN and Yahoo for years. I made the switch last year and never looked back.
to add interest for those games
Blue Baller : 8/20/2014 1:25 pm : link
the same reason I play weeks 1-16
The days where everyone sits their starters are fading and will even go further away if the NFL adds a playoff team and eliminates a bye
still too many playoff teams sitting players
UConn4523 : 8/20/2014 1:35 pm : link
on week 17. No thanks. No point in following it all year, getting to the championship, only to have your first round pick resting for the playoffs. Why even chance it?

Until I see otherwise there is no way i'd pay money to be in a league that isn't wrapped up before week 17.
If you want to add interest to week 17
YAJ2112 : 8/20/2014 1:42 pm : link
just play on one of the daily sites.
not that I'm trying to convince anyone
Blue Baller : 8/20/2014 1:44 pm : link
But what I want is for the championship to the the total across weeks 16 and 17, which lessens to an extent the resting players effect.

Week 17 is a week just like any other week and should be included. It needs to be managed just like bye weeks
I've used...

Real time Fantasy sports for years and have all the customization needed.

It is only $79.99 when you renew early.

it is rtsports.com
Bye weeks are guarantees

and fair game. You shouldn't be penalized for taking a really good player on a team that happens to have a 2 game lead with 1 to play for a playoff spot.

To each their own, but I think it cheapens the end of the year.
I see your point
Blue Baller : 8/20/2014 2:03 pm : link
I just think the NFL has largely done away with that problem and if the playoff changes get passed will pretty much eliminate it

How may superstars sat out week 17?

manning had 4 TDs week 17, I dont think he had much to play for (but could be wrong)

Peyton was playing to set the all-time
YAJ2112 : 8/20/2014 2:13 pm : link
single season passing yards record, and left the game the second he passed it.
Jamal Charles sat
YAJ2112 : 8/20/2014 2:21 pm : link
AP sat (though not clear if he would have played with his injury if they needed the game)
