As predicted, Cena gets his rematch against Lesnar at the September PPV announced tonight on Main Event. Basically the story they have told is Lesnar is unstoppable and Cena "Never gives up".
I truly believe they are going to put Cena over to tie Ric Flair's titles and actually market that fact.
So in essence.. the Undertaker streak and Lesnar winning the title could go wasted just to further bump up Cena.
Only way I could tolerate that without throwing up is if Cena turned heel and joined Nikki in the Authority. But I doubt that happens.
They are making a big mistake not leaving the belt on Lesnar. Who cares if he only wrestles 4 times a year. They used to do that all the time. IF he needs to be on TV more show him at his training facility at home via satellite and make that part of his gimmick with Heyman on the mic.
I long for the Attitude Era of professional wrestling. No matter what any bullshit people have to say about it, next to the 80's, it was one of the most entertaining periods ever.
I think they brought him back to congratulate him.
But for the love of god, don't let Cena be the one to beat him. Let someone else get that boost after Brock runs wild for a while destroying everyone.
You know it's going to be Cena though at some point. Fuckers. Also, are they ever going to separate those two belts?
This can only be the next logical booking step if Cena wins. Cena beats Lesnar by cheating, but at damn near death. Out comes Rollins, and with no Dean Ambrose to stop him, he can beat Cena. You can then end The Shield story at Wrestlemania 30 with Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose vs Roman Reigns for the WWEWHC.
Make Brock the unstoppable force that no one can take down and are scared of both faces and heels. Have him even turn into Frankenstein's monster and have the authority get nervous for going so desperate to revert to "plan c"
Leading to reigns winning the rumble and being the one to slay the monster and getting the big mania moment. If they go with the rock to do it, then wwe is just saying the can't create new stars.
The other choice who is getting way over minute by minute is Ambrose. Who's "lunatic" gimmick aka modern day piper works in the situation he would be the only one "crazy enough" to not be intimidated by Brock. He will get a monster pop when he returns from filming his movie.
I think the Rock fights him in Rumble and then its Reigns winning the Rumble and fighting at Mania

The Attitude Era was so overrated. People say they want it back but I suggest you go back and watch some of the stuff from the late 90's on the WWE Network (for only $9.99, maggle!). The Attitude Era had STARS: Austin, Rock, HHH, Taker, Kane, Mankind, Big Show, Vince, Shane... The storylines out side of Austin vs McMahon were awful and often cringe worthy. Once WWE establishes another group of mega stars (DA, Reigns, Rollins, Zayn, Steen, Kenta, Devitt) it will be golden again, and not need the sleeze to sell itself like it did in the 90's

A pathetic, weak ass photocopy of what Hulk Hogan was back in the day.

you are putting alot of faith on HHH and McMahon- See Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, and slowly Wyatt
He'll be close to winning but somehow he'll get screwed over.
And I have every confidence, they'll have Cena beat Lesnar.
I like having a champion that's actually feared and brings legitimacy to the title
