I emailed Chateau De Vin in Cedarhurst about your wine. The owner is short and not helpful. I asked if he has your wine. He said no. I asked if I can pre-purchase it or if he can contact it me when it gets in. He said I can't pre-purchase it. I asked if he can contact me when it comes in again or should I look somewhere else. His response was he doesn't know when it will come in.
Lol, why is it so hard for people to answer simple questions? Is there another place that sells it or maybe you can tell me when another shipment is sent out here and then maybe I can try communicating with this guy again? Thanks.
I lol'd.

Thank you. That seems helpful.
Ba da dum
It was moving fast and I dont know how much there is/was and if still carried.
Skyview is probably you best bet.
Another shipment is already on the water, so it will be available in the US soon. 3-4 weeks is my best estimate.
As noted above, Skyview in Riverdale and also Gotham in Manhattan will surely get some in stock for Rosh Hashona, along with other NYC area retailers that make efforts to stock kosher wines.
Again, thanks for asking man. As for the rudeness, maybe he trained for retailing in Israel?
Thanks for the heads up in Paris too. It was fine over there but one day we took a train ride to one part of Paris and when we got off I felt like I was in a scene from You Don't Mess With The Zohan. Lol. It was very sketchy with armed police or military right there as soon as we stepped off the train. We didn't stay in that area too long. Lol.
I work for an alcohol distributor in Manhattan and used to do liquor stores. If I needed single bottle placements of certain items I would sometimes ask a couple of friends to go in to the store at different points of the day/week asking for the item I needed placed before I would present it to the decision maker. It would work 90% of the time and I never understood those owners who consistently wouldn't even take a bottle or two having been specifically asked for the item
You're BYOB at the restaurant right? I've mentioned your place to my brother who's retired and a real chow hound, he was very interested. I'm gonna bug him some more to drop by (he lives very far north in Jersey - Allendale) and maybe bring in a bottle to share with you... Knowing my brother, he's just as likely to drop by with some bottle from Brazil or Uruguay or some exotic spot.
Easiest is to drop an email or call to my importer - Allied Imports in Long Island City - about availability in central coastal NJ. Easy to find their website and contact info on google.
That's Drew of Drew's Bayshore Bistro in Keysport NJ folks! 4.5/5 stars on Tripadvisor and highly recommended by many sources... He took a beating from Sandy too, so get over there!
Ok I know you're not like that, SMH.
