why I wish the reports were a little more in depth.
Are the WRs getting open and we are just missing them? Are we forcing throws? Are we throwing into double coverage? If Eli is throwing balls away, that tells me no one is open.
Just wish we get a little more in depth information.
I know he's working on stuff in practice, but the amount of ducks he throws and picks are alarming. Guess we'll see how he does Friday before we do any more crucifying.

Being one guy, tough to keep my eyes on every aspect of everything. From our vantage point, which is basically on the corner ends of the field, it's tough to look at receivers who may be open while also watching everything else that takes place during a play. Also, we don't have access to practice tape, so once the play is over...that's it.
If I'm watching Eli, I can't be watching the receivers. Remember, I'm on the sidelines so I can only see that side of the field at eye level, not above. The point of the throw away was to reference that no one (presumably) was open against a scout team (third team) defense.
At games it is awesome because I'm high above so I can see the entire play in front of me.
I will work on being more descriptive on specific plays I describe. When it comes to interceptions I'll describe a bit more in detail on the play (behind, in front, receiver fell down, ect).
What I meant was on the plays where a DB bats it down or picks it off, are the WRs at least open and the QBs just missing them. If the WRs arent getting open, and we are forcing throws.... thats a two prong problem. Because even if Eli throws it away or gets sack, its still a negative play.
But if the WRs are getting open and we are making bad throws, that can, or at least should be a fixable problem.
Obviously, I dont expect you to see every WR in a pass pattern, haha. But I am just curious to see if we are getting WRs open in this new offense. The Giants had a ton of problems getting WRs separatiuon last year, and if we cant get separation this year its going to be a long ass year.
Out of curiosity, do the running backs ever work with the Jugs machine? I realize that the speed and trajectory of the Jugs would be much different from that of a swing or screen pass, but I'm curious to know what Andre Williams may be doing to get more reps catching passes.
Nothing in the practice report. And in the thread on Harris and Washington, Eli is observed discussing the nuances of the offense with the rookies and Cruz.
I think we all were hoping he would step up but I haven't seen much to be hopeful.
I don't want to believe his QB ability has declined for good (because of injury), but I still don't have a clear picture as to what's wrong with our passing attack.
RE: Any indications of Eli's back injury lingering?

I think it was Brandon Tierney, during a morning radio show with Tiki in the off season, who said Eli was nursing a back injury. He wasn't comfortable naming the source, so he framed it as a rumor that he believed.
Anyway, I couldn't find any article reporting it, so if I'm wrong about it.. all the better.
and Neil Lomax in the same sentence, as the implication that Eli, like Lomax before him, got prematurely battle-fatigued. I mean, Lomax was a nice QB for a couple of years who won nothing.
I looked up Lomax, who quit at 29 with a bad hip, and had surgery to replace it year later.
If I thought you were capable of having an adult conversation, then I would have no problem talking or joking around with you.
But since I find you as a completely useless human being, I have no reason to even consider your opinions as a joke. So how does this sound, and no I am not joking.... Go fuck off.
To me, that is a good sign that he isnt forcing the ball.
But I think the emphasis on that sentence was the interception.

He did say that Eli threw the ball away when nobody was open...I missed that.

Thanks.
I already like Harris more than Jernigan.

What back injury? He had ankle surgery?!

Another fucktard. You don't getting off your knees for Coughlin and gilbride to speak coherent English. Or is your mouth still full?
We should give you the bbi award so something happens that you never come back.
