I think Rex is a good coach. The roster sucks. The fact he was able to make that team go .500 is really impressive. The talent on that team is atrocious. Pat Kirwin thought they'd be 4-12.

That said, he's a prick.

this idea that the Giants players need to rise above is overrated, both the 07 and 11 groups were very chatty at times. I have no issue with either side to be honest.

how in arc's GIF you see Rex walking with his head down as Cruz is running down the sideline, after his formidable defense just blew 3 tackles. He can talk all he wants it's still just a preseason game.

Brandon Jacobs on the sidelines as a guest of the Giants for this one. I know it's preseason, but maybe this is what the doctor ordered to get the offense going. I am getting psyched as if it were a regular season meeting.

and he's always come off as a nice enough guy off the field and seems like a positive contributor within the community. As a matter of fact he worked the chain gang during some of his son's football games prior to him moving on to Clemson (how a seldom played HS senior goes on to play at Clemson is a different story). I think Rex might be a case of someone that reserves a certain persona for his professional life but is a decent person off the field.

I'll also add that I did notice his wife to be rather attractive for a woman her age, especially considering that her husband was at one point morbidly obese.
