Is the game on in Albany tomorrow?

Checked the Time Warner guide, couldn't find the broadcast on any of the usual channels (NBC, CBS, NFLN). I know the game is being covered by CBS in NYC, yet our local guide has the OAK/GB game listed at 8. Is this a simple error, or are we truly not going to get the broadcast? I would be surprised if we didn't, but TV rules are screwy sometimes. Anyone know?

Jets vs Giants is always only in NYC, however, it re-airs on NFL network @ 10a on Saturday, DVR is already set

Does that mean that someplace like the Recovery Room

They are going to preempt the national game with Jets/Giants. Its likely to be a Jets broadcast, as they are the home team (even though there is no Jets fan base up here).

But that's according to the Times Union, which has degraded to the level of an awful blog/Buzzfeed knockoff. Who knows if they know what they're talking about...

It is paper thin, most of the stories are (selectively) cut and paste jobs from the NYT or WPost, even local news is thin...I suppose it's because I'm old and of a generation where getting the newspaper is just what you do...like electricity and water. I keep saying that I'm going to cancel, but I never do it.

I've definitely watched Giants/Jets live in Alb in previous seasons, and I've already set the DVR for the CBS broadcast in case the local affilliate does run with it over CBS' national game.

As far as the Times Union... what a rag. I canceled it and I get calls every week, it's bordering on harassment. I've escalated up as high as they would let me to stop calling me, changed nothing.

I wouldn't listen to Times Union

The Jets vs Giants games pre season (when Giants are home, they are typically on in Albany), when Jets are the "home team" it is carried only in NYC. Local papers (I lived in the 518 for 95% of my life) get them wrong as well.
