over time and most of the time it's the same n teams with divisions or not.
Once in a while with two divisions, you wind up with a stacked division and a team doesn't make the playoffs where they would have in a one division.
I have no preference, it's mostly luck anyway = because with divisions the schedule is where you plan your division teams more than other teams, but once you combine divisions it's more random.
If you don't do divisions then evenybody plays another team once plus 2 more games. That's not that fair but not bad.
If you have two divisions like I have in some leagues we play every team in our division twice leaving three games left over. I organized a system where the team who cam in first has the toughest schedule based on last year's finish. This is also a legacy league though so players are on contracts and there is little roster turnover compared to restarting or just having keepers.
Anything more than two divisions is not right to me. I have been in three and four division leagues and it sucks.
I'm not a big fan, but I can't recall an issue where a good team didn't make the playoffs b/c of the division alignment. Both leagues have wildcards with no division requirements.
divisions are good for rivalries between owners but things get screwed up if it is set so division winners get a bye or get into the playoffs just because they win the division...you can have divisions and still have the playoffs determined by best overall records...
You want the best teams getting into the playoffs, Â
not the ones that were lucky enough to be in a bad division. Fantasy sports is so much about luck(injuries, opportunities, matchups, etc...) that I just cant fathom a good explanation or reason for adding more luck into the equation and setting up divisions.
Playoffs begin in week 14 and last for three weeks. The six postseason participants from the CTFFLA are seeded as follows:
1. The division champion with the best record.
2. The division champion with the second-best record.
3. The division champion with the third-best record.
4. The Wild Card club with the best record.
5. The Wild Card club with the second-best record.
6. The Wild Card club with the third-best record.
Note: In event of division champions with identical records wildcard tiebreaker applies (Head to Head, then total fantasy points scored for the season.
Playoff Format:
First round (week 14):
• # 1 & # 2 seed will receive first round byes (Division winners with best & second-best record.)
• # 3 V # 6
• # 4 V # 5
Second round (week 15):
•#1 will play lowest remaining seed
•#2 will play the 2nd lowest remaining seed
I'd rather just make it top 4 records advance with total points as a tiebreaker.

Yup. The best teams should advance.
Top 2 get 1st round bye.
