if the staff thinks he's going to be part of this team, he needs to play in this offense and understand it too.

Schwartz from the Post was on WFAN and said those guy might see a little bit of time with the 1's.

Also said Pugh will play some LT tonight in relief of Beatty.

We have seen enough of JJ and MM to know they aren't the answer. We need to see more of Harris and Washington to see if they are capable of doing some things against the varsity. If they can't, we may be in trouble and ODB better get healthy and pick thing up in a real hurry (doubtful).

I think you could make the case that JJ is suffering from what Cruz and Randle and Eli are experiencing, just a lack of how to operate in this offense.

If our first round draft choice is going to be hurt come opening day, you're doing to need some experience in there and JJ would be that guy.

I am not high on him either, but if Beckham is compromised, you've got Cruz and Randle....the rest are basically inexperienced guys (to me, Mario isn't in the picture).

I have a hard time seeing TC, at least at the beginning of season, going with such inexperience in a brand new offense.

That's why I think JJ has to play and get some timing down with Eli.

if these guys dont have the talent of randle, if they are reliable they will help take strain off of eli

A player with his experience needs to be told that when the corner is over the top, expect the back shoulder throw.

That's really all you need to know to judge JJ's issues in the past. I hope they play that clip about 50 times for John Mara and Reese.

and that somebody will not be Beckham. I sure hope Washington or Harris can get some separation because somebody has to play the position. JJ does look like a slot guy and MM was not signed to be an X.

Nobody knows when Beckham will play or IF Beckham can play. It is not like he was burning it up in camp and then got hurt. No one has actually seen him PLAY. If Washington or Harris do not impress will Giants have to look to sign a vet WR that is cut ?

Why wouldn't you say that Washington is as physically talented than Randall? Isn't he bigger and arguably a better athlete?

On that 70 yard bomb from a few games ago he looked like AJ Green out there - something I've haven't seen since peak Plaxico.

That would seem in line with those of us who thought that too many WRs were not on the same page with Eli last year and it was mostly the WRs' fault.

Protect Eli and know when and where he's going to throw the ball and we may just thrive in the passing game this year.

For the first team offense to have some success (any success) than it is for the Giants to try to work in two guys would will likely be the 5th and 6th options at WR.

With the ones tomorrow, giants right now are looking for any type of spark on offense. Plus all this maddness with Beckham it's pretty much forcing Coughlin to give these rookies a look, whih is always good imo..

Was JJ playing on the outside? If so, I think we should play him inside in the slot. I think he could utilized better there especially if playing the outside doesn't utilize his skill set.
