I don't put too much stock into it other than to say it is better to win than lose I guess.
I really want to see Nassib start next week and continue to develop. I also want to see what kind of OL actually plays because we have really been pounded with injuries. Will OT Brown and OG Jerry be back?
Last, would love to see our young TE's used a lot so we get a feel for their receiving abilities.
Preseason records mean nothing I'm sure you know. But it is true that it would suggest the teams second line players who will eventually have to step up and play due to injury may be better then the oppositions is an encouraging sign.
Other then that there are many examples of teams losing most or all of their preseason games and go on to have stellar seasons. Of course if you are an Eagles fan they just bought their tickets to the Super Bowl after beating the Steelers the other night. Now if you want to hear irrational fans tune into Philly sports talk radio.
I remember those days well. I think in one of those two years I'm not sure which one they beat the Packers on opening day and you want to talk about being excited as a fan. Then someone reminded me the Packers weren't the Packers anymore if you know what I mean. The rest of the season of course went down the tubes.
I guess I was fortunate because I was stuck in Green River, Wyoming at that time in the days before extensive cable and satellite TV. It was Denver Broncos or nothing.
by spoiling 5-0 for us.

In their historic 0-16 season, the lions were 4-0 in the meaningless preseason games.

Our starters look awful. This looks like a 2-3 win team to me so far this preseason.
