If leaders of the communities and government acknowledge this I will be presently surprised and applaud them. This is not a high profile incident so I don't see it happening.
Profiling this incident would make it a humanity issue not a race issue. It would be smart to make a statement suggesting that.
Maybe if it comes out that the kid had a black dad or something than maybe a bigger media outlet would run this story. It could be that there are just trigger happy cops out there with no racist agenda but who's going to loot a business over that

Nobody is suggesting that the shootings are ok. I think it just suggests that there is a chance that maybe there wasn't a racial agenda to the shootings in Ferguson and that maybe police are equal opportunity shooters. Everything doesn't have to be racist

the legal process to determine the facts in this case? Review the evidence and eyewitness accounts and present it to a grand jury which will decide if the policeman should be charged with a crime.
Or we can just riot, loot, and burn the town down and call for the policeman to be immediately punished without a trial.

Does anyone see the difference between a poster who wants to point out that it is possible that not every such incident is automatically caused by racism and the poster who makes ape comments?
If you're thinking about posting something when your point is basically, "Why can't the white man get a a decent break in this country", try punching yourself in the face five or six times first and then maybe re-consider.
That the investigation should run its course, that looting solves nothing, or even saying that Michael Brown's robbing of the convenience store may show that he's not a good kid. The flip side is we also don't have police dash cam video and 5-6 shots from one gun can be seen as a lot. None of us were there so until the investigation is done all we are doing is speculating.
However, calling a black person an ape is an all time low. There's no excuse for that at all and you should be banned. Go tell one of the black giants that Sharpton is an ape. Better yet maybe your black coworkers should know about your thoughts when you don't hide online.
