NFT: Under deck ceiling installation cost’s?

bigblue1124 : 8/24/2014 9:00 am
I was hoping that some here could give me an idea or a base line of what the cost’s are for a professional ceiling install under a deck?

We close on our new home next month new home to us I should say and this is one item we are looking to have done when we move in. The deck area is about 270 sqf give or take 12x20 we are also looking to have ceiling fans installed during the process. Has anyone had any work like this done with their home? I am not looking for a DIY job due to the fact I will be doing the patio under it as well as the outdoor cooking area. And really am looking for a clean professional look for this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Deck closed in and made it a screened in porch total 12 x 24

They asked if we wanted bead board underneath because we have patio below with a walk out basement it was quoted at 2200 dollars

That's breadboard with no fans we decided not to might do it later though
Thanks Joe

Do you regret not covering the patio? Or was it something you planned to address later on? We do not plan on doing any kind of screened area. Long term a finished paver patio area under the deck with it extended out about 4 feet on all sides for an outdoor kitchen area no need for hoods with everything not under the deck.

I appreciate the info and hope your happy with you’re screened in area.

Not sure where you live as that probably plays in a little but Ive recently had this priced out and a friend had his done a couple weeks ago. Depending on the company you are looking anywhere from $9-14 a square foot. They will make the cutouts for the fan but do not install them. This is for the aluminum ceiling. Im in Atlanta area and it seems the best company is Rainaway, but they are a little bit more expensive. Good luck.
Yes I do

What I found out is if your screened deck is not on the ground bugs still come up from underneath which apparently doesn't happen if your deck is on the ground

Email me and I will send you pick of the bead board I got
