This was gonna be a thread where you highlighted a comment you didnt like on the michael brown thread and call him out for what you thought was a "piece of shit" reply. Got excited there for a minute.

A couple weeks ago, i'm standing in line at the grocery store and lo and behold is a kid with a fire academy uniform on. Well I wait a few minutes and couldn't help my self.

How's the academy going? fine. I hear so and so is in charge. Yes sir. I'm chief ctc, so and so was under me. tell him I said hello. yes sir.

I text so and so on another matter a few days later asked him if any of the recruits passed on the message.

Long story short, I had lunch with him today and he said the next day at PT in the morning, he asked if anyone was given a message for him?

Of course it was the first week and every one was "shy". He had dressed them down on the first minutes of the first day on how once you are wearing the uniform, the public doesn't know whether you are in rookie school or what.

Turns out it played right into his hands.

Lesson well learned and I'm glad I was the asshole who did it.

That explanation confused me even more.

I think the kid is just young and all mathliberal n shit..

But what does that have to do with your opening comments in the thread?

open a thread a few days back about throwing in with a few guys who were starting a new point of sales company. After a few comments on the thread, I said I would talk to a friend who runs a few successful restaurants for any thing that could help him out.

It took me longer than what I thought to get the information for him.

Even thought we don't see eye to eye on some issues, I see no reason not to help a 25 year old trying to better himself.

I hope he remembers as he gets older.

I knew I had to be missing something, thanks. I'm sure he will appreciates it.

As for disappointing everyone else for this not being an argument thread, I guess someone can bump that god forsaken Ferguson thread...
