I remember 1 blitz by Bennett. They didnt game plan this exhibition season. Next week they will and I'm going to get a true sense of the philosophy of McAdoo and how Fewell will attack
Who is competition at this point? Adkins has already been cut. Fox hardly did anything. It was Adkins after Kennard jumped Herz. Unless you think the Giants are going with 5 LBers and I doubt that.

In what year did the light come on for Toomer? I know he was a dim bulb at first, and coaches were about to give up on him. We can only hope that Randle is Toomer 2.0 in that regard. Can Coughlin bring Toomer in to mentor Randle or something?

I think that CBA in 2011 helped the aging vets but was more harmful to younger players. Lack of contact drills is necessary for many of these guys. Noticeable around the league that some of these young guys have issues in live game action.
This is a systemic issue with him from day 1. He's not a rookie but he makes the same mistakes he's made since he's been drafted. New scheme or not he has a habit of leaving the QB out to dry by running the wrong routes.

I think so. Because in camp reports I always hear how great his non contact drills are going. How he is making great plays against Prince and DRC and these other physical DBs but I often think it is a control environment. These defenses aren't allowed to get really physical with these guys anymore in practice. The coaches can't protect them in live games, where DBs are constantly jamming disrupting routes. I don't really see how it helps younger receivers.
I think it is criminal that now the only way to truly practice goal line stances is hope you get one in preseason. That is crazy.

If he keeps having brain farts, he'll be useless but I'm sure he'll still be a starter. If he turns it around and lights it up, the passing offense will be very hard to defend.
