Is it time to flip Tackles?

Beatty can't handle edge rushers, but his run blocking appears not to be a problem.

The Coaching staff has said as recently as July that if they had to move Pugh to LT, they believed that he could do the job.

If they are not going to find someone outside of the organization to play LT, I think it's time to make the switch.

Pugh at this point. He's been rock solid at RT and you don't risk screwing up two positions to fix one. If it was an option you probably would have seen some of it in camp.

You don't make any radical changes now...

How did Beatty look last night? Still shakey? I wish Reese would offer a 3 this year and a 4 the following year for Boone.

I wonder if the Giants will go two tight end or always line one up

next to Beatty to chip the edge rusher and give Beatty more time to establish his position. I can't help but see that sack vs. Minnesota last season where Jared Allen bull rushed Beatty and then reached his hand over Beatty to sack an unsuspecting Eli.

I know the line needs lots of playing time to get in sync and all that buzz but honestly the talent we have today is not good enough to ever gel into a playoff worthy team. So I say cut your losses early and lets get the talent levels we need on the team so they can start working together ASAP.

No wonder they suck.....

they have to work together in over and over. They need to work on chemistry and know when there is a stunt, for instance, who will take care of who and not flinch/think about it. Run blocking has been much better this year, at least in pre-season, however, we will not be able to run the ball against 8 man fronts if we can't pass the ball!
